RNC
REPORTBACK

This year the Republican National Convention (RNC) saw the largest
protests in the history of U.S. political conventions. Creative
and
colorful marches, demonstrations, direct actions, civil disobedience,
educational events, celebrations and much more were held all week to
show
the Republicans how unwelcome they were. At the same time the
level of,
police harassment, violent police tactics, police surveillance of
activists and psychological warfare tactics were used extensively by one
of the largest gatherings of law enforcement officials in the history of
New York.
Join local activists who traveled to New York in August to protest at
The
RNC. We will be discussing the details of what happened that
historic
week in New York City, as well as beginning a discussion of where do we
go
from here.
